Op 17 januari 2017 werd GZVN met verstomming geslagen
door het plotse overlijden van haar hoofdtrainer Christophe Jorissen.

Christophe was een boegbeeld binnen de club, van jong tot oud. 

Christophe was ook de bezieler achter CSwimm.

Omdat er in Vlaanderen niet zo heel veel kansen op 200meter-wedstrijden in 50m-bad zijn, 
hebben we ons programma daar dan ook op toegespitst.
